Failure to pay child support could damage credit rating

The Department for Work and Pensions along with the Child Maintenance Service and Child Support Agency plan to share payment information of their clients to credit reference agencies.  The purpose of this potential change is to encourage non-resident parents to pay their child support as failure to do so would damage their credit rating and cause problems for finance arrangements and credit.
